HOSPITAL MARGARITA MORALLES INAUGURATION RENOVATION OF THE MEDICATION AND EMERGENCY ROOM
Aiming to bring better quality of care and comfort to patients who attend the Municipal Hospital Margarita Moralles, Pollo Engenharia carried out interventions on the spot. “The opening of a new medication and emergency room was made possible through the generosity of Pollo Engenharia and the Prysmian Group. It is an example of how this place can be improved, thanks to the vision of the current administration, always aiming at the good of the patients”, highlighted the Secretary of Health, Carlos Mosconi.
The room for the isolation of patients affected by COVID-19 was transformed into an emergency room. Isolation was transferred to the Clodoveu Davis Flu Syndrome clinic, located next to the hospital. Adaptations were also carried out in the old emergency room, to house the new medication room. At the site, door changes, painting and installation of new equipment were carried out.
The new rooms were equipped with medication chairs, IV stand, hospital beds, trolleys with defibrillators, among other equipment donated by the Prysmian Group, at the beginning of October. Patient Maria Eunice da Silva was the first patient to be seen in the new medication room and praised the space. “I thought the room was beautiful. I would like to thank you for taking care of the patients.” The Hospital's Technical Director, Dr. Juliana Maranhão thanked those responsible for the changes. “The interventions were possible due to the search for partnerships by the Coordinator of the Hospital's Administrative Division, Maria Mendes. I would also like to thank Pollo Engenharia and the Prysmian Group who contributed a lot to the adjustments. We always work to provide comfort and quality of service to the population of Poços Caldense.”
The Coordinator of the Hospital's Administrative Division, Maria Mendes, also spoke about the importance of the changes for the population and employees. "With an organized and structured environment, it is possible to offer a welcoming and humane service to patients."
