Blu Bot, the first chatbot integrated with Prysmian Group's Intranet, is online. It is the result of a combination of Softec’s Digital Transformation skills and Conversate’s expertise in Artificial Intelligence. This virtual assistant has been developed to simplify the Company’s communication with Prysmian’s and General Cable’s 30,000 employees in the HR, IT and Communications areas.
The chatbot, which marks a further milestone in the Digital Transformation process undertaken by Prysmian Group, has been developed in just 6 weeks and is a tool that companies are increasingly adopting not just for external communications, but also to ensure faster and more effective internal communications.
Employees of Prysmian Group and General Cable in various continents helped fine tune the chatbot by conversing 24-hours a day and thus enabling Blu Bot to quickly learn and improve its knowledge.
Softec was responsible for redesigning the Group’s Intranet, and for developing and integrating the Blu Bot chatbot within this new environment. Softec also coordinated the working team and supported the customer during the phase of strategic analysis of content.
